By submitting an application to join the Lusaka Arbitration Centre (“the Centre) through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Application Information

- Review: You acknowledge that the Centre reserves the right to review your application and determine your suitability for membership.
- Code of Conduct
- Compliance: You agree to abide by the Code of Conduct of the Centre, which outlines ethical standards and professional conduct expected of members.
- Consequences: You understand that any violation of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.
- Fees and Payments
- Payment: You agree to pay any applicable membership fees and other charges as outlined by the Centre.
- Refunds: You acknowledge that membership fees are generally non-refundable, except as otherwise specified.
- Intellectual Property
- Ownership: You understand that all content and materials provided by the Centre through its website or other channels remain the intellectual property of the Centre.
- Use: You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or modify any Centre materials without prior written consent.
- Dispute Resolution
Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Lusaka International Arbitration Centre (LIAC) in accordance with the LIAC Arbitration Rules for the time being in force, which Rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause.
- Termination
- By Centre: The Centre reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time for any reason, with or without cause.
- By Member: You may terminate your membership at any time by providing written notice to the Centre.
- Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Zambia.
- Acceptance
Agreement: By submitting your application, you signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
