Admission to LIAC Panels

Criteria for listing on LIAC Arbitration Panels

Domestic Panel:

Candidates must meet the minimum standards set out below:

  • Educational degree(s) and/or professional license(s) appropriate to the applicant’s field of expertise;
  • At least five (5) years post-qualification experience;
  • Be a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators or any comparable professional arbitration institute;
  • Experience as an arbitrator or counsel in two or more arbitration cases; and
  • Membership in a professional association(s).

International Panel:

Candidates must meet the minimum standards set out below:

  • Educational degree(s) and/or professional license(s) appropriate to your field of expertise;
  • At least ten (10) years post-qualification experience or senior-level business or professional experience;
  • Be a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators or any comparable professional arbitration institute;
  • Experience as an arbitrator or counsel in five or more arbitration cases; and
  • Membership in a professional association(s).
Candidates are invited to apply for admission at the relevant link below. The centre reserves the right, in its absolute discretion to admin or to refuse the admission of any person to the panel. In exercising its discretion, the centre will have regard to the qualifications, experience and standing of an applicant among other considerations. LIAC reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to remove any person from the panel at any time.
