In 2025, the Lusaka International Arbitration Centre (LIAC) moved from vision to reality, handling its inaugural cases and setting a new standard for ADR in Zambia, and by extension the region. This annual summary reflects on a year characterized by the expansion of our Domestic and International Panels, developing our institutional framework, and a renewed commitment to positioning Zambia as a trusted and reliable seat for arbitration.

- Jus Mundi Partnership: Entered a strategic partnership with Jus Mundi to make redacted awards globally accessible
- Expanded Arbitrator Panels: Successfully vetted and onboarded arbitrators to both the Domestic and International Panels
- Legislative Advocacy: Actively collaborated with Ciarb Zambia Branch and the Zambia Law Development Commission to support the drafting of the new ADR Bill
- China-Africa International Commercial Mediation Center (CAICMC): Signed MOU to establish the Zambia Branch
